Four nominations at the EFAs 2018

On 15 December, the European Film Awards will be presented for the 31st time - four FFHSH-funded films are nominated: They include the Romy Schneider drama "3 Days in Quiberon" and Fatih Akin's "Into the Fate".
In December, all eyes will be on Seville: For the 31st time, the European Film Academy will be distributing its awards in 23 different categories. A total of four awards could go to FFHSH-funded projects this year. Marie Bäumer has been recognised for her outstanding portrayal of Romy Schneider in3 days in Quiberon (Rohfilm Factory) from Director Emily Atef is nominated for Best European Actress. Halldóra Geirharðsdóttir is nominated for her leading role in the Icelandic satireWoman at War (Slot Machine) by Benedikt Erlingsson also has hopes of winning an award. The film won the Art Cinema Award at Filmfest Hamburg, which is supported by the FFHSH with a sum of 5,000 euros to promote PR measures for German Distribution. In the "European Animated Feature Film" category, the filmAnother Day of Life by Raúl de la Fuente and Damian Nenow, which was co-produced by the two Hamburg companies Wüste Film and Animationsfabrik, among others. Hamburg's cult director Fatih Akin is up for nomination with his NSU drama and Golden Globe winnerInto the fate (bombero int/Warner Bros.) was voted for by the public and has been nominated for the "People's Choice Award".
