With the cinema investment programme, cinema operators from Hamburg have the opportunity to secure an investment grant from the FFHSH for the "Future Cinema Programme" of the German Federal Film Board (FFA). The special thing about it: Until31 December 2020 mustNo own contribution be provided by the applicants. This means that 80 per cent of the money comes from the FFA, while the remaining 20 per cent can be applied for from the FFHSH. Funding is provided for measures to modernise and improve the structure of screening venues - this can include smart data, sustainability, accessibility or new projection and sound technologies, for example. The grant amounts to up to 30% of the eligible investment costs, but should not exceed the sum of 30,000 euros for cinemas with one auditorium or 20,000 euros per screen.All important information on how to apply can be found here.
