Helge Albers, CEO MOIN Film Fund Hamburg Schleswig-Holstein: "From an end-time epic to a bitter political satire, we are represented at this year's German Film Awards with three films and a total of eleven nominations. The Hamburg company Bon Voyage Films is sending 'Curveball' by Johannes Naber into the LOLA race. There were a total of six nominations for 'Tides' by Tim Fehlbaum, which was partly shot in the film water tank 'Offtec' in Schleswig-Holstein. An impressive documentary about the British musician and sound researcher Matthew Herbert also comes from Directors Enrique Sánchez Lansch and the Hamburg production company Kloos & Co. Nord. We are keeping our fingers crossed for all the teams for the awards ceremony in October."
