The Hamburger Dungeon stands for interactive shows with professional actors, live entertainment, over 600 years of the history of Hamburg and horrible fun. The rooms in the catacombs are offered as a setting for individual shootings. Special effects and a horrible atmosphere – different stations give place for exciting shots. There are eleven shows and two driving attractions which are all in different and complexly designed rooms.
More than 120,000 working hours went into the construction of landscape and detailed gadgetry of this miniature world. Computers control the facility with its 500 trains, 50,000 lights and cars that run as if by magic. 60,000 figures on an area of 500sqm provide a lot of fun, and there is always something to explore. The facility is the largest digitally controlled miniature railway in the world.
Behind the cladding of this historical brick-lined storehouse the modern designed playhouse offers space for up to 340 persons. The interior of the theatre is painted in red and black and the foyer with bar and bistro is designed elegant and reminds optically on modern hotel lounges.
