In 2011, Filmförderung Hamburg Schleswig-Holstein, Medienboard Berlin Brandenburg and the Istanbul Film Festival - Meetings on the Bridge (commissioned by the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism) founded the first German-Turkish Co-Production Development Fund in order to facilitate cooperation between German and Turkish filmmakers at an early stage of a joint project.
Projects are only eligible to apply once.
