Cooperation with HMS extended by five years
11.05.2018 | Green Shooting Card
The Hamburg Media School and the FFHSH have been working together on "Green Shooting" since 2013 - all student film productions are produced in accordance with the Green Shooting Card criteria. The co-operation has now been extended for a further five years.
Sustainable and ecological film making needs to be learnt - right from the start. The third year of the Hamburg Media School is already working with the fields of action specified in the Green Shooting Card. The FFHSH environmental certificate covers the areas of production design, catering, production office/preproduction, transport/mobility, lighting/technology and the preparation of a CO2 balance sheet - a lot of potential that needs to be utilised.
The current cohort of HMS students is currently preparing for their final films and just completed a one-day, practical workshop on the Green Shooting Card at the end of April. In addition, many purchases have been made at the Hamburg Media School over the years to facilitate the implementation of sustainable measures, such as sustainable cups, crockery and drinking vessels. The Green Shooting Card is intended to sensitise students to the issues of the environment and sustainability for their future careers and provide them with the necessary tools for "green shooting".
