When North meets North

28.10.2026 | 68th Nordic Film Days Lübeck

Kiel, 2 November 2026 – From the 4th to 8th November, Lübeck will be celebrating nordic film: the Nordic Film Days Lübeck are kicking off their 68th edition and will feature 17 productions supported by MOIN. These include the drama *Elephants in the Fog*, which has already won an award at Cannes, the latest film *Ultraviolet Damage* by Kiel-based filmmaker Pola Rader, and *Lord* by Caren Wuhrer, which has just won the Hamburg Producers Award at Filmfest Hamburg and was shot entirely in Hamburg.

Helge Albers, CEO of the MOIN Film Fund: “In Lübeck, we can look forward to a diverse programme featuring outstanding productions from Schleswig-Holstein and Hamburg, which extends far beyond the cinema screen. As well as fantastic films, this year also offers a wealth of inspiration for the film industry: we’re bringing together Executive Producers and filmmakers from northern Germany and Europe in various formats, placing a special focus on the XR sector in the Baltic Sea region, and providing targeted support for emerging filmmakers through Future North. I’m particularly looking forward to the masterclass with Monika Treut!”
