Shooting starts for new Nordlichter series
03.09.2018 | #bonnie&bonnie
It's all about love: "#bonnie&bonnie" is still being filmed in Hamburg and Lüneburg until 27 September. Directors Ali Hakim's film is being made as part of the joint funding programme "Nordlichter" by FFHSH, NDR and nordmedia. The theme of the new Nordlichter programme is nothing less than love.
#bonnie&bonnie tells the story of Albanian Yara (Emma Drogunova), who grew up in Hamburg-Wilhelmsburg, and the intrepid Kiki (Sarah Mahita). The two teenagers have a love affair that nobody is allowed to know about - not even Yara's Wilhelmsburg clique. While Yara discovers a completely new, previously unknown freedom in the relationship, Kiki experiences the feeling of belonging for the first time. But at some point, their meetings in romantic but hidden places and their limited time together are no longer enough...
Produced#bonnie&bonnie by Michael Eckelt and Johannes Jancke (Riva Filmproduktion GmbH) from Hamburg. Ali Hakim wrote the script together with Maike Rasch.
"Nordlichter" is the joint funding programme of Filmförderung Hamburg Schleswig-Holstein, NDR and nordmedia - Film- und Mediengesellschaft Niedersachsen/Bremen. The films in the new season deal with the theme of "love", after the first seasons were dedicated to the genres of "comedy" and "mystery". The new "Nordlichter" films are expected to be shown on NDR television next year. The mystery films from the last "Nordlichter" season will be shown on NDR from 25 October.More information about the Nordlichter programme can be found here.
