How was the shoot and where else did you travel for the film?: Getting this house in Kappeln as a holiday location for our kids was a dream come true. The shoot as a whole was a wild journey: First Hamburg on the Reeperbahn, then to Emden on the ferry towards the island, plus the fierce North Sea on Norderney to this dream house on the Schlei, where we shot all the scenes with our teenagers and their aunt, the sex therapist Ellen. And let's not forget spinning bottles around a campfire on a cliff on the Baltic Sea.

Why is Palina Rojinski the perfect cast for the role of sex therapist Ellen?: Palina brought a freshness and naturalness to this role that completely thrilled our young actors on location. And we were just happy too. You'll see all that in the film.

What exactly attracted you to the subject matter? Why did you really want to make the film?: Directors Ziska Riemann and I sat together at some point and just fantasised. We are friends and really wanted to make a film together. Why not something with sex? Why not something about YouPorn and what it does to people? Why not a comedy? That's where our idea of a "teen-holiday-first-sex-first-love-comedy" came from.

Additional question: Did any funny things happen during the filming?: Our set designer had stuffed the sex therapist's study full of the most imaginative dildos, funny sex toys, erotic art, books on all kinds of sexuality and a huge plush vulva. When the whole team and our actors went through there for the first time, they were amazed and had a lot of fun. You're sure to find some of that in the outtakes!
