
Eight funded films in the pre-selection

The year is off to a good start: A total of eight FFHSH-funded films have made it onto the shortlist for the 2019 German Film Awards, which will be presented on 23 May 2019. Fatih Akin's "Der Goldene Handschuh", "25 km/h" by Markus Goller and "Rocca - Verändert die Welt" by Katja Benrath are among those hoping for a nomination.
The first stage has been completed: as of today, the list of films for the pre-selection for the German Film Award is complete. The three juries (Feature Film, Children's Film, Documentary) have announced their favourites, which include eight films supported by the FFHSH. Which films from the pre-selection will receive a nomination will be announced on 20 March.
