LOLA in gold and bronze for Hamburg

With eight LOLAs in all the important categories, the 'Systemsprenger' team around Nora Fingscheidt has once again shown what an exceptional work they have created with this film. The two LOLAs for Hermine Huntgeburth's visually stunning biopic 'Lindenberg! Do your thing' are more than deserved. And anyone who has not yet seen the film pearl 'I Was, I Am, I Will Be' by Ilker Çatak should definitely do so now. Tonight's film was like balm for the soul in these difficult times. I hope that we can finally see films like Katrin Gebbe's 'Pelikanblut' or Burhan Qurbani's 'Berlin Alexanderplatz' soon where they belong: On the cinema screen!"
