German Film Commissions continue "Keen to be green" seminars

08.07.2020 | New dates

Due to popular demand, the German Film Commissions (GFC) are continuing their online seminar series "Keen to be green" in mid-July. The web seminars with Green Filming & TV expert Philip Gassmann will then be aimed specifically at actors, agencies, Directors and Script Writers.

The German Film Commissions network launched the nationwide digital event series "Keen to be green" for the first time in May and June to provide individual training for individual trades in the area of sustainable work processes. The online seminars were very well received with a total of around 400 participants. They were aimed at the production design, Costume Design, production, lighting and camera trades.

There have been many requests from the industry to offer the free web seminars to actors, agencies, directors and Script Writers. The German Film Commissions have therefore decided to continue the seminar series. Together with the Bundesverband Directors (BVR), the Bundesverband Schauspiel e.V. (BFFS), the Verband der Agenturen für Film, Fernsehen und Theater e.V. (VdA) and the Verband Deutscher Drehbuchautoren e.V. (VDD), they invite you to the second part of their practical training on "Green Filming" with Philip Gassmann. They will again be supported by the German Film Academy, the Producers Alliance and the Producers Association.

Directors and green filming expert Philip Gassmann will provide information on green production basics, green storytelling, best practices of new technologies and tools as well as the new guidelines of the "Green Shooting" working group on sustainable production in specially tailored online seminars. Participation is free of charge. Registration is now open!
