
Honour for Director Lars Jessen

The Minister President of Schleswig-Holstein, Daniel Günther, honoured Directors and film producer Lars Jessen with the state's art prize on Wednesday evening.
Another award went to a filmmaker from Schleswig-Holstein on Sunday. The filmmaker Moritz Boll, known among other things for his short filmSubmergedwas awarded theCulture Prize of the City of Kiel excellent.

About the Schleswig-Holstein Art Prize The state's art prize has been awarded since 1950. Every two years, it honours artists who were born in Schleswig-Holstein, work in the state or have a special significance for the state. Prize winners include jazz musician Nils Landgren, poet Günter Kunert, clarinettist Sabine Meyer, tenor Klaus Florian Vogt and painter Klaus Fußmann. The Minister President distributes the prize on the recommendation of the Artistic Advisory Board chaired by Culture Minister Karin Prien. The award is endowed with 20,000 euros.
