2x Cannes, 2x series, 1x Fatih
12.09.2022 | 30 years of Filmfest Hamburg
Festival director Albert Wiederspiel and his team are serving up a packed programme for the 30th anniversary edition of Filmfest Hamburg. Festival-goers can look forward to a total of 19 MOIN-funded productions from 29 September to 8 October. These include Cannes winners such as "Triangle of Sadness" and "Holy Spider", series highlights "made in Hamburg" and the world premiere of Fatih Akin's new film "Rheingold".
Helge AlbersCEO of MOIN Film Fund Hamburg Schleswig-Holstein: "The 30th anniversary edition of Filmfest Hamburg is a particularly strong year. We have Cannes winners like 'Triangle of Sadness' alongside high-end series like 'REEPERBAHN - SPECIAL UNIT 65' and 'Gefesselt'. We have genuine Schleswig-Holstein projects like 'Out of My Skin' alongside international co-productions like 'War Sailor'. And we have Fatih Akin, who is celebrating the world premiere of his new film 'Rheingold' in the Hanseatic city. A festival that is more than worthy of an anniversary edition. Albert Wiederspiel and his team have put together a great programme, complemented by exciting industry events. See you at the film festival!"
