MOIN with eight productions at the Berlinale

When the 73rd Berlin International Film Festival takes place this year from 16-26 February, eight MOIN-funded productions will be screened in the capital - six of them as world premieres. They include "The Measures of Men" by Lars Kraume, Ayşe Polat's "In the Blind Spot" and the drama "The Teachers' Lounge" by İlker Çatak, which was shot in Hamburg.

The Meyerhoff novel adaptation "When Will It Again Like It Never Was Before" by Sonja Heiss will also open the "Generation 14plus" section and first glimpses of the high-end series "Davos" can be seen at the Berlinale Series Market.

Ilker Catak's film 'The Teachers' Lounge', which was shot entirely in Hamburg, will be screened in the Panorama - with this year's European Shooting Star Leonie Benesch in the leading role. In the 'Generation 14plus' section, younger audiences can look forward to the Meyerhoff novel adaptation 'When Will It Be Again Like It Never Was', which of course has a special Schleswig-Holstein connection due to the Script Writer. We are keeping our fingers crossed for all the film teams!"
