On the Tuesday of the Berlinale, Digitalisation Minister Dirk Schrödter welcomed the Schleswig-Holstein film scene to the Baltic Motion reception at the state representation in Berlin. With a full dome experience, a short film programme and an exhibitor area, there was plenty for guests to discover that evening.

Dirk Schrödter was joined on stage by MOIN CEO Helge Albers, Nordic Film Days Director Thomas Hailer and - as a special guest - Directors Lars Jessen. The latter was delighted to receive a special Mittagsstunde cake, as he has brought the Dörte Hansen novel adaptation, the most successful German arthouse film, to cinemas in 2022. The stage event was hosted by the new MOIN location manager in Schleswig-Holstein, Nicola Jones.

After the podium talk, the 600 or so guests could look forward to several programme items in addition to relaxed networking. A short film programme of funded films was shown once an hour in an adjoining room. Not far from the stage, a fulldome (provided by the Planetarium Berlin Foundation) was set up in which the French artist and music producer Molécule projected a 360-degree experience onto the ceiling. If you still hadn't had enough, you could visit the numerous exhibitors on the upper deck, such as the Muthesius Academy of Fine Arts and Ocean Mind Edutainment.
