Florens Huhn
Florens Huhn (*1989) is a Hamburg-based screenwriter. After studying literature & film in their hometown, Florens worked 4 years as narrative designer in the games industry before becoming a freelance screenwriter. Diagnosed with ADHD, they craft stories exploring queerness, transcultural encounters and neurodiverse perspectives that challenge social structures and norms.
Everyone knows the Brothers Grimm, but have you ever heard of the non-conformist and queer Ferdinand, the most captivating member of the family? Unlike his conventional brothers, who never left their office, he is seeking untold fairy tales. When he meets the warrior Benyamin, they embark on a journey into a hidden world of magic to find her stolen child and hunt the giant Rabbol. "The Strange Grimm" is a story of misfits and the quest for acceptance, of an adventurer, forgotten by the world.
