Laurian-Luis Schymura
As a producer - with degrees at HFBK and HMS - I pivot around organically merging art and commerce. Being a first academic with a troubled but also kind and multicultural upbringing, my work flourishes on underrepresented voices, centered on sincerity, autonomy and equality. Universal bonds of understanding, identity, belonging, attraction and coherence carry my international co-productions.
At an art opening devoted to social inequality, a group of homeless people bursts in, drawn by the free buffet. The guests feign tolerance until one homeless man claims to recognize himself in a painting and demands its ownership. While the artist tries to mediate, the gallerist struggles to stop the guests from leaving, turning chaos into a performance. Luxury, morality, and reality collapse into an absurd nightmare where no one knows who is exhibiting whom - until ownership is claimed by force.
