For more and more people, the Internet offers a refuge from the real world - and sometimes people cut their ties to their social environment altogether: the film Goliath96 has been shooting in Hamburg since Tuesday.
In the feature film debut of HfbK graduateMarcus Richard playsKatja Riemann a woman desperately trying to establish a connection with her 21-year-old son (played by Nils Rovira-Munoz). Eventually she contacts him anonymously via an internet forum - and the tragic story takes its course. The film from the production companyScalar film will have a total of 21 shooting days in Hamburg and will be filmed in the districts of Eimsbüttel and Schnelsen, among others. In addition to Bandits actress Katja Riemann, her former band colleagueJasmin Tabatabai can be seen in a supporting role. Goliath96 is expected to be released in cinemas in 2018.
