Maria Köpf leaves Filmförderung Hamburg Schleswig-Holstein

During her time in office, the FFHSH has supported such outstanding films as 'Into the Fate', 'Watu Wote' and '3 Days in Quiberon', which have also enjoyed great international success. Together with Maria Köpf, we have further strengthened the importance of film in Hamburg and thus laid important foundations for the future. I very much regret Maria Köpf's decision not to extend her contract as CEO of Filmförderung Hamburg Schleswig-Holstein and wish her all the best for the future."

Maria Köpf, CEO of Filmförderung Hamburg Schleswig-Holstein: "I am very proud of the many successes that film from Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein has been able to celebrate over the past two years. It is still a great honour for me to be able to support the film talents of the north in their work. My thanks go to the shareholders of FFHSH, who have entrusted me with this great task and have always supported me constructively. Nevertheless, for personal reasons and because I will be taking on new professional challenges, I am moving back to my old adopted home of Berlin. I can already say that I would not want to miss my time in the north and am very much looking forward to the remaining ten months. I would especially like to thank my fantastic team at FFHSH, who are always on hand with help and advice."
