Seven nominations for Film-Norden
01.04.2019 | German Film Award 2019
In the nominations for the 2019 German Film Awards announced today, three FFHSH-funded films received a total of seven nominations. Fatih Akin's "The Golden Glove" alone received five nominations. In addition, "Rocca Changes the World" by Katja Benrath and Markus Goller's road movie "25 km/h" made it onto the list of nominated films.
Maria KöpfCEO of Filmförderung Hamburg Schleswig-Holstein: "From a dark horror film to a fraternal summer road movie to a children's film with a Pippi Longstocking feel: the seven nominations for the German Film Award show the wide range of talent in the North German film industry. For example, what would 'The Golden Glove' be without the detailed production design by Tamo Kunz, the stunning Costume Design by Katrin Aschendorf or the elaborate Honka mask by Maike Heinlein's team. This is concentrated Hamburg power on the big screen - we are keeping our fingers crossed for all three nominated film teams! Our congratulations also go to Ruth Toma from Hamburg, who has also been nominated for a German Film Award for the script of "Der Junge muss an die frische Luft"."
