Hamburg Corona Emergency Aid (HCS) from the SenateTogether with the IFB, the Senate is launching an emergency aid programme for small and medium-sized companies and freelancers (Hamburg Corona Emergency Aid, HCS).

Interest-free deferral for tenants of municipal properties in Hamburg Companies and institutions that are commercial tenants in municipal properties can apply to their respective landlord to defer their rent for up to three months without interest.

Further emergency aid The Gesellschaft zur Verwertung von Leistungsschutzrechten mbH (GVL) allows holders of a neighbouring rights management agreement from the independent performing arts community to apply for one-off emergency aid.

Loans from the Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KfW) via the respective house bank KfW promotional instruments such as the "ERP Start-up Loan" or the "KfW Entrepreneur Loan" for working capital financing are available for companies in the commercial sector and the liberal professions to cover short-term liquidity requirements.
