Creative Europe Desk Hamburg welcomes new head Lisa Emer
12.05.2026 | Staff changes
Lisa Emer will take over the management of the Creative Europe Desk Hamburg on 1 July 2026. She succeeds Christiane Siemen, who has shaped the Creative Europe MEDIA programme's advisory office in Hamburg for 34 years and is now retiring. Dr Jan Asmus from MOIN Film Fund Hamburg Schleswig-Holstein will take over as commercial CEO.
Lisa Emer has been working at the Creative Europe Desk (CED) since 2012 and has more than 14 years of experience in advising applicants, press and communication work and event management. She gained further industry knowledge at the Film Commission of Filmförderung Hamburg Schleswig-Holstein, Filmfest Hamburg and CINEMED - Festival international du cinéma méditerranéen de Montpellier. In addition to her master's degree in Applied Cultural Studies at the University of Lüneburg, her professional training focused on film marketing and European co-productions, including at EAVE and the Erich Pommer Institute.
The commercial CEO of the Creative Europe Desk Hamburg will in future be Dr Jan Asmus, Head of Finance and Corporate Development at MOIN Film Fund Hamburg Schleswig-Holstein. This dual function strengthens the structural link between the European office and its parent company.
Lisa Emer: "I am very much looking forward to my new role with my familiar team and the Hamburg industry. Linking European topics and opportunities with the local needs of film and media professionals - that is and remains an exciting task. I see the closer cooperation with MOIN as a wonderful enrichment."
Christiane Siemen: "It is with great pleasure that I hand over the CED reins to Lisa Emer. After many years of working together, I am certain that the European spirit at the Desk will continue - and yet a new wind will blow with Lisa Emer."
Helge Albers, CEO MOIN Film Fund: "Christiane Siemen has shaped the Creative Europe Desk Hamburg for more than three decades with great commitment and in-depth knowledge of the European funding landscape. With Lisa Emer, we are handing over the management to very familiar hands. With her at the helm and a closer connection to MOIN, we are well positioned to bring European funding to the region even more effectively."
Creative Europe Desk Hamburg, a subsidiary of MOIN Film Fund Hamburg Schleswig-Holstein, is the information and advisory office for the Creative Europe MEDIA programme in northern Germany. Fundings for the audiovisual industry in Europe have a budget of 1.4 billion euros until the end of 2027. The funding is awarded with a special focus on transnational cooperation in the European audiovisual sector. The Creative Europe Desks advise and inform the German industry and organise European networking events.
