Financial support for completion
Fundings can be applied for in justified exceptional cases for the completion of feature-length cinema films. This only applies to projects that were not subsidised by public funds during production. Fundings are provided in the form of loans that can be repaid depending on success.
3 steps to submitting an application
Step One
Who is eligible to apply?
Applications can be submitted by:
producers (this also includes producers who produce their own films)
Step Two
Arrange a consultation appointment
You must have a consultation appointment at the latest 14 days before the submission date.
Step Three
Apply for fundings
The application can only be submitted online. You will receive access data for the application portal during your counselling session with our funding officers.
The Committee responsible for the application is based on the expected production costs of the film being made.
