About the film: The DocumentaryAll good - Arriving in Germany tells the story of two children who came to Germany with their families in the late summer of 2015: Djaner, 7, from Macedonia and Ghofran, 11, from Syria. Their escape ends in Hamburg, in the middle-class neighbourhood of Othmarschen. For her film, Hamburg journalist and documentary filmmaker Pia Lenz accompanied the children for a year in their new home on the Elbe. The film was released on 23 March 2017 and has since been nominated for numerous awards - including the Grand Jury Award at the Full Frame Documentary Film Festival in the USA and the German Film Critics' Award. The film was producedAll goodby Pier 53 Filmproduktion (Hamburg) in co-production with NDR and SWR, distribution by Hamburg-based Rise and Shine Cinema. The project was funded by Filmförderung Hamburg Schleswig-Holstein. Pia Lenz, who completed her Master's degree at the Hamburg Media School, has already been honoured for her first feature filmHudekamp - A home film was honoured with the "German Television Award". Her current project, the long-term documentaryHelene leavesreceived FFHSH funding for project development in autumn 2017.

Jury and prize: The jury is made up of television critics and publicists, media scientists and education experts appointed by the Grimme Institute. This year's nominees were selected from more than 900 submissions and proposals in the categories of Fiction, Information & Culture, Entertainment and Children & Youth. The Grimme Prize is awarded to television programmes and achievements that are exemplary and exemplary for programme practice.
