Film festival again at last! From 24 September to 3 October, Filmfest Hamburg opens its doors in a hybrid edition. You can choose between going to the cinema and streaming many of the films. Seven subsidised films have made it into the programme, including the Berlinale winner "There is no evil" and a remastered version of Fatih Akin's classic "Short Sharp Shock".

Curveball - We make the truth

A political drama with grotesque features: Directors Johannes Naber's "Curveball - Wir machen die Wahrheit" tells the true story of BND bioweapons expert Arndt Wolf (Sebastian Blomberg), who provided arguments in favour of the 2003 Iraq War through an internal mistake and a lot of bungling.
