Helge Albers, CEO MOIN Film Fund Hamburg Schleswig-Holstein"The job profile of Executive Producers is changing drastically. Traditional models are fading and changing. The demands of the industry are higher than ever and the foundations for a successful entrepreneurial activity are often laid at a very early stage. With our residency programme, we are looking for the next generation of Executive Producers who want to improve their professionalism and global thinking and build a strong network in Copenhagen, Montreal, Hamburg and Amsterdam!"

Claus Ladegaard, CEO Danish Film Institute"Times are changing for Executive Producers in the audiovisual market and strong collaborations are essential for progress. This initiative will strengthen relationships between Executive Producers and hopefully encourage new co-productions. We are delighted to be a part of this new initiative."

Tine Fischer, Director of the National Film School of Denmark"Co-productions in the global marketplace are not just about co-financing, but more importantly about working with people who can be trusted to have the same strong vision for a project. The National Film School of Denmark is thrilled to be part of this partnership, which offers participating Executive Producers an exceptional opportunity to share and develop visions, working methods and ways of producing in the four participating countries."

Louise Lantagne, President and CEO of SODEC Québec"Given the increasingly competitive global market for producers, we believe that this type of initiative will not only be of great benefit to Québec's Executive Producers, but will also build bridges between our partners' countries and our own, strengthening our relationships and opening up opportunities for co-production and collaboration. SODEC looks forward to being part of this new partnership and hosting one of the residencies as part of the programme."

Bero Beyer, CEO Netherlands Film Fund"No matter how much the film landscape changes, the development of projects and Executive Producers is always crucial. We are excited to be part of this new programme that will not only create a new path for Dutch Executive Producers, but hopefully foster relationships between participants from our four territories."

How it works: The four participants in the "Port of Production" residency will each spend two weeks living and working in one of the four cities, where they will attend workshops, meet local Executive Producers and creatives and work at management level in a film company. The first residency will begin in Copenhagen in March 2023, followed by an optional visit to the CPH:Dox documentary film festival. The second residency will take place in Montreal in late August, early September 2023, followed by an optional visit to the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). For the third residency, participants will travel to Hamburg in October 2023, with the option of attending Filmfest Hamburg. The final residency will take place in Amsterdam in January 2024, followed by an optional visit to the International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR).

Who can apply? Up-and-coming feature film producers who have released at least one and no more than three feature films in their home country. More information:www.moin-filmfoerderung.de/residencies
